Top 10 T.V. Shows

Guess what, dear reader? Lists are back because of popular demand! Apparently, Ms. Hudler loved so much The Rant List and assigned us to write Top 10 lists of whatever stuff. In this entry, I am going to write about my Top 10 favorite T.V. Shows that I watched during High School. Most of these series were aired during my senior year, however there is one from the 90’s (therefore, it has primitive special effects). Position number one is my favorite T.V. Show.

10.- Sherlock
This british T.V. Show (which actually is a mini series) aired by the BBC is about the detective Sherlock Holmes, but it has a modern twist. In contrast with the movie Sherlock Holmes (Tony Stark as Sherlock Holmes), in Sherlock, Mr. Holmes has a laptop and phone, Dr. Watson instead of writing Mr. Holmes’s  adventures on paper, he now has a blog; Scotland Yard uses more modern methods, and Irene Adler (in contrast with the book, in which she manipulates men) is a Dominatrix (I am not kidding, watch the first episode of Season 2). Sherlock is so popular, that even Dr. Who made a cameo in a Sherlock episode (or was the other way around?) I like this show because I love to hear the british accent, and it is quite interesting of what would Sherlock Holmes do to solve cases in these days.
Sherlock by minatchiBBC’s Sherlock in the Point of View of an Otaku.

9.- The Simpsons
The Simpsons have been on the air for more than 25 years. If this show is not in the air by when my grandchildren read this blog, this show was a cartoon starred by an American family (with yellow skin) and they made a satire criticizing the Government, Corporations, and Human s̶t̶u̶p̶i̶d̶i̶t̶y̶ nature.Homer is the dad, and is a very (extremely) dumb character, and is my favorite character because besides all the stupid things that he does, he says truth about the society, Homer represents the irresponsible and uneducated worker who only got a High School diploma and is in charge of the security of the Nuclear Plant (Oh, no!). The mom is Marge, who is the mom who works in the house does the chores. Then there is the son Bart, who is a troublemaker at school, and always does disaster, and does not have respect for Homer (who ends up choking Bart)Bart tell us about society that tyoday’s kids don’t care about their parents and do whatever they want. Lisa is the sister who is liberal, conservationist (of nature), smart, and Buddhist, she is the least stupid person in all the city of Springfield, and is a motif of Bart contrasting the naughtiness of Bart and the nerdiness of Lisa. because in Springfield time is relative, Maggie (the baby) is still a baby since season 1.
The only episode in which she grew up was in which the local scientist (Dr. Flyn or something like that) shows Bart and Lisa their future using some sort of time machine. The simpson show us how the police is incompetent, the education system is crap, the government is bought by the wealthy, and the ecological disasters in the US (represented by the Nuclear Plant).

8.- The Big Bang Theory.
Another sitcom. Is about a group of nerds and geeks that are good friends and hang out together. I like it because of the references to pop culture, such Marvel, DC, Stephen Hawking, etc. Not political satire, but social satire.
7.- Once Upon a Time
Disney, the giant corporation on entertainment, finds another way to make money, and is by using all the characters in the Fairy Tales movies and Mulan (Mulan is not a fairy tale) and put them together in a single fictional universe in a T.V. Show. The plot is that in a far far away land, the characters of fairy tales were living together happy in there, but then Snow White’s evil stepmother curses that world and sends them to another reality in which the characters don’t remember about their past in the other reality. In this new Reality that takes place in the fictional Maine town of Storybrooke, Jiminy Cricket is a psychiatrist, Snow White a schoolteacher, Little Red Riding Hood is a hot waitress, Snow White’s stepmother is the mayor, the Huntsman is the police chief, and Mulan is an Asian who like girls. Disney also added Elsa from Frozen.
6.- Buffy, The Vampire Slayer.
Aired during 1990’s, and didn’t survived to see the 2000’s. It is about a highschool girl named Buffy, and is the chosen one to be the slayer to exterminate the Vampires and the forces of Darkness. Often, the Vampires and the Forces of Darkness attack at her school and actually kill people there and throw the bodies in school, but the amazing thing about this is that the police department rarely investigates the crimes and leave the hard work to Buffy. Because it is from the nineties, it has primitive special effects such masks, costumes, make up, etc, but what can you expect from the 90’s?
5.- Blue Bloods
A cop T.V. Show, but before you ask what is so different of this show from other cop shows is that in this show the characters (in the fictional universe) are related between them and all of them are involved in the greatest Police Department of all the US (NYPD) or in the justice part of the government. The grandpa was a former police commissionerate, then the father is the current police commissionerate, then the son is a detective, the sister is the district attorney, and the brother of them is a regular police officer. They often quote Theodore Roosevelt and FDR.
4.- Parks and Recreations
Another sitcom and political satire. It is formatted in the same way as The Office. It is about Leslie Knope, the subsecretary of the department of Parks and Recreations of the fictitious city of Pawnee, Indiana, and the great ideas that they have to improve Pawnee’s parks, but they are often stopped by the item #72 of The Rant List (Bureaucracy if you are too lazy to look it up).
3.- Arrow

DC comic’s superhero Green Arrow is taken to  T.V.Show. Oliver queen is the son of the wealthy family of Starling city named Queen (the Queen Family), owner of Queen Incorporated. One day Oliver goes with his dad on vacation on a yacht, and the yact sinks in a storm, then Oliver arrives to the Chinese Island of Lian Yu (which means Purgatory), and he learns the art of throwing arrows with a bow. Then he returns to Starling city and becomes the local vigilante. It’s like Marvel’s Hawkeye, but in DC comics.
2.- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Disney strikes again and uses the Marvel’s Characters (because Disney bought the characters of Marvel Comics) and produces The Avengers, Captain America, Thor, Ironman, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc. All of this movies are related in the same fictional universe called “Marvel’s Cinematic Universe”. But what is amazing about this universe is that the show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is also inside this universe and plays a big part in the plot of this universe. S.H.I.E.L.D. is a fictional government intelligence agency that seeks the world security. In this show elements that appear in The Avengers,  and other Marvel movies are mentioned, for example, in an episode the agents of SHIELD need to find a weapon from Asgard that allows warriors to have super strength and fight with rage, then in another episode it is revealed the technology that HYDRA in World War II in Captain America: The first avenger. It is creative. Directed by Joss Whedon, the director of The Avengers and Buffy, The Vampire Slayer.
1.- The Office
It is about an office of the fictional corporation Dunder Mifflin, a paper maker, in the non-fictional city of Scranton, Pennsylvania. The boss, Michael Scott (starred by Steve Carell), thinks that he is the best boss in the world and treats his employees like friends, but sometimes  (which is frequently) mess things up (like John Fields!). It used to be a british T.V. show of the BBC, but then NBC took the idea.

How to write an Screenplay

Dear Reader, If you are reading this from the future, then somehow you ended in this blog, I was probably a great movie director that filmed a sitcom named Social Studies, but If I didn’t and instead I turned out to be a great lawyer, or unemployed, drafted by the US Army, kidnapped by Aliens, lost in the sea, traveled in time to France in July 14th, 1789, or just a boring person with a white collar job in an office in some big city with a wife, children, and debts, then I obviously didn’t turned out to be a movie director, but whatever is the case I leave this knowledge to you so you can use it and write your own amazing blockbuster. Who knows? Maybe you turn out to be the next Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick or (in the worst of the cases) the next Michael Bay. Maybe you will film the next Pulp Fiction, 2001: Odyssey in the Space, The Avengers, The Wizard of OZ, Psycho, or (in the worst of the cases) the remake of Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies, or Transformers. If you are someone who is grading this scrapbook as an English IV assignment, then the information will be useful. In this entry you will learn the structure of a Screenplay. As example I will use one of my favorite movies (not Beowulf): Captain America: The First Avenger (How many references to Captain America I have made in this blog?).
WARNING: IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST  AVENGER YET, THIS ENTRY MIGHT BE A SPOILER ABOUT THE PLOT, SUCH CAPTAIN AMERICA’S FRIEND (BUCKY BARNES) DIES BUT RETURNS IN THE WINTER SOLDIER WITH HIS BRAIN BRAINWASHED BY HYDRA WITH ORDERS TO KILL CAPTAIN AMERICA, RED SKULL  GETS THE TESSERACT, AN ITEM FROM ASGARD (THOR’S WORLD) IMPORTANT IN AVENGERS AND IN MARVEL’S CINEMATIC UNIVERSE MOVIES, ROGER’S LOVE (PEGGY CARTER) GETS HER HEART BROKEN WHEN STEVE ROGERS GETS LOST IN THE SEA AND IS NOT FOUND UNTIL THE END OF THE MOVIE (WHICH IS LIKE 60 YEARS AFTER WORLD WAR II), AND CAPTAIN AMERICA GETS INTO THE AVENGERS TEAM BY NICK FURY (SAMUEL L. JACKSON). THAT BEING SAID, YOU MAY CONTINUE.
First, a screenplay is divided in three acts: ACT I, ACT II,  and ACT III. ACT I lasts about ¼ of the duration of the film, for example, a 120- minute movie’s ACT I lasts 30 minutes. In the ACT I, it is introduced the Ordiary World, which is the hero and the characters’ normal place. In Captain America, it is shown Johann Schimidt (Aka. Red Skull) hunting the Tesseract in Norway, which he gets, being the war the Ordinary World of Johann Schmidt. Then it is shown Steve Roger’s Ordinary World trying to get into the army, and getting beaten up in the alleys and always saved by Bucky Barnes. Then there is a Call to Adventure, in which the hero is called to enter to the Special World to solve a problem; in Captain America, the call to Adventure is when Steve Rogers goes to the fair with Bucky Barnes and some girls , and Steve Rogers separates from the group to go to an Army’s draft booth in the fair. Then there is usually a Refusal to the Call by the hero, in movies such The Patriot, Mel Gibson does not want to get involved into the war initially, however Steve Rogers is a willing hero that seeks to go to the Special World, but there is still a Refusal to the Call not by Rogers, but by Bucky Barnes that finds him and tries to discourage him to go to war, telling him that he will only find death in the battlefield. When there is a Willing hero in a movie, there will always be someone who tries to discourage the hero ( check out Dance with Wolves, it is the same thing as in Captain America).

Then the hero has an Encounter with the Mentor, who sometimes is a Merlyn-like figure that encourages the hero to go into the Special World. In Captain America, Rogers meets Dr. Abraham Erskine, who finds him, talks to him, and encourages him (more) to join the Army, telling to Rogers “We already have many big guys, maybe we will need a little one”, so Dr. Erskine takes Roger’s file and approves him to join to the army, Crossing the First Threshold to the Special World. The Cross of the First Threshold is the final event of ACT I, solving the hero’s decision to enter to the Special World.
ACT II deals with the hero’s actions in the Special World, and it starts with the meeting of Tests, Allies, and Enemies. Here, the hero is tested to prove his (or her) worth, also he meets Allies, and Enemies, which would be the boot camp, where Steve Rogers faces several tests such taking down the flag to earn a rest from the training, and the bravery tests made by Col. Phillips, that throws a fake grenade to prove that Rogers is a coward wimp, but Rogers proofs his bravery by jumping to the grenade to protect his peers and the Agent Carter (his crush), also Dr. Erskine talks to Rogers about his Enemy, Johann Schmidt, who was administered the same serum as Rogers, but it had side effects in Schmidt. Dr. Erskine tells Rogers this to tell to Rogers why he was chosen, because despite his is asthmatic and wimpy, he has a good heart and is not rotten as Schmidt, then Peggy Carter, takes roger into the secret lab where the serum is going to take place, the serum is administered, and Rogers now has abs. But a HYDRA spy kills Dr. Erskine, and steals a bottle of the formula, Rogers hunts him down and asks him “Who are you?!”, and the spy responds “The first of many. Cut off one head, two more shall take its place. Hail HYDRA!”, and the spy commits suicide by eating a pill of cyanide. Then Steve Rogers learns that HYDRA was responsible, and he wants to fight it, but he is dressed with bars and stars and give shows in order to sell War Bonds. Moreover, the hero Approaches to the Inmost Cave, which is the most dangerous place in the Special World. Rogers goes to the frontline to entertain the soldiers, but then he learn that Bucky was captured by HYDRA, and he goes into HYDRA’s factory to rescue Bucky, he figures out the locations of the other factories, takes Schmidt's mask off, becoming now Red Skull. Then there is an Ordeal, a battle in which it is unknown what is going to happen
with the hero. Captain America rides HYDRA’s train, but he finds someone who is actually trying to kill him,
then an accident happens, and somehow Captain America finds Bucky hanging from the train and is facing death by falling from the mountain in which the train is traveling.  Unfortunately, Bucky falls (but doesn’t die, he returns as the Winter Soldier in the sequel). Captain America continues with the battle and gets the Reward, which is Dr. Arnim Zola, one of HYDRA’s top officers. The Reward is the consequence of the ordeal, sometimes is an object (such in the poem Beowulf, which is Grendel’s head), a person (Such in Captain America), the enemy’s plans (such in Star Wars IV), however, the Reward is the consequence, therefore sometimes it can be a negative consequence, such a delusion, for example (I know it’s a horrible example, but it’s the only one I came out) in Mean Girls, Lindsay Lohan loses both her friendship with the “plastic girls” and her friendship with her real friends, showing that popularity went to Lindsay Lohan’s head (I don’t remember the name of the characters). With the reward, ends the ACT II, and starts the ACT III. ACT II lasts 2/4 of the duration of the film, which is more or less around 60 minutes in a 120-minute film.
ACT III last the remaining ¼ of the movie, or the last 30 minutes, and deals about the consequences of the deeds done by the hero in ACT II and here is where the climax of the whole film is. The first thing that happens in ACT III is The Road back, which are the consequences of obtaining the reward and the forces disrupted by such action. Sometimes is a chase scene (Such in Star Wars IV), other is the exile of hero from the Special World after making a mistake (such in The Lone Ranger,  or Django), but in Captain America’s case, it is a setback from the hero’s good fortune; Captain America feels guilty about losing Bucky in the Train attack, but Peggy Carter comforts him, and encourages him to go after HYDRA for Bucky by telling him “You will not be alone” (I so love the quotes of this movie!). Then the Climax comes, or in other words the Resurrection. The Resurrection is the final attempt to make a change in the Special World, when the hero is exiled, he (or she) returns reloaded, such in Scott Pilgrim vs  The World, that Scott pilgrim comes back with to face a last ordeal with Ramona’s 7th ex-boyfriend (Ms. Hudler, you MUST watch this movie, it is so epic), in A Million Ways to die in the West, the coward cowboy returns with a bullet dipped in poison to kill the antagonist; In Captain America, Steve Rogers decides to bring down HYDRA for once, and enters in Red Skull’s headquarters to capture him, but Red Skull captures Captain America, and when Red Skull is about to kill Cap, the army breaks into Red Skull’s Headquarters to bring down HYDRA. Red Skull runs away, but Cap goes after him ,and sneaks into the plane that Red Skull gets into (after receiving a kiss from Peggy Carter. Well done, Cap!). Red Skull fights Cap in the plane, Red Skull touches the Tesseract but gets burned (or tele transported by a portal to space. Some people speculate that we will see again Red Skull in one of the movies following Captain America). The Tesseract falls into the ocean, and Captain America has to sacrifice himself by putting the plane into the ocean to save America from a catastrophe (the plane carried weapons to
destroy the major American cities). Cap and Peggy Carter have this talk in which both agree to meet again for a date (by using the radio of the plane), although both know how it is going to end, and show us implicitly that Captain America and Peggy Carter love each other, and Captain America gets lost in the frozen sea. After the resurrection, it is followed the Return with the Elixir, in mythology was the item that the heroes were looking for, for example in Norse Mythology (which is going to be my freebie in the next issue) Thor retrieves his hammer, after having fighting with the Giants of the Jotunheimr that stole his hammer Mjolnir. But the elixir is not always an object, sometimes is a lesson learned by the characters after the experience of the Special World, for example,  in the poem Beowulf, Wiglaf learns that Beowulf was a great hero that fought for the good of his people, and he (Wiglaf) gives to Beowulf a honorable monument after he has died and he decides to follow Beowulf steps. But in Captain America, the world realizes what Captain America had to do to save the free world, Peggy Carter misses Cap, and Captain America is found 60 years after World War II by SHIELD, and he finds out that most of his friends are dead (Almost. Peggy Carter returns in The Winter Soldier as an old lady with Alzheimer). But Captain America’s elixir is the honor of the people that give to Captain America, and the knowing that his deeds to save the free world were not in vain because the Nazi party falls, and HYDRA also(Apparently. In The Winter Soldier, HYDRA somehow filtrates in SHIELD, but still, Captain America defeated HYDRA in World War II). And finally ends with the credits, which are the images of World War II propaganda posters (I loved the credits).
This structure is not only found in movies, but also in mythology, epic poems, books, The bible, etc. Although this structure is a clear way to build an story, you can always defy the archetypes by being iconoclast and doing something different. That’s why Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, is a classic of Cinema, it changed a little this structure by building a frame story which events do not happen in chronological order, but the events somehow fitted in the structure and still made sense.
FADE OUT. (FADE OUT is something that is typed in a screenplay to indicate that the movie is over, and so this entry).

The Writer’s Journey. A Bible for every writer. It doesn’t only teaches about how to write, but also teaches about life.

The Rant List

There are things in this world (and until there is not proof of life in other planets, in all the universe) that I love, there also things that I don’t care about, things that I hate, and things that make me rant about. To describe the things that I rant about, I have created “The Rant List”. All the stuff listed under The Rant List, is stuff that not only I hate the most above all the things existing, existed, or coming soon; but also things that make rant for minutes and sometimes, hours when mentioned or referenced. Fortunately, while I am writing this list, I am in a really good mood, and when I am in really good mood, nothing can make me mad (unless is something so disturbing). Position #1 is the thing that I hate (and rant) the most.

1.-The minions: These ugly things which people describe as adorable, for me they are the most awful thing on cinema’s history because they speak weird, there is not a consensus about their physiognomy (some have one eye, others two. Seriously, Can’t the movie staff agree on how many eyes they have?), and they steal the protagonism of Gru. When people go to see “Despicable Me” they don’t go to see Gru, his adoptive daughters or the plot, they go to see the minions like if the movie was about them. Another thing that I hate about them, is that people is so obsessed with them that make them so annoying because in school, I see minions, on facebook I see minions, in the news I see minions, and everywhere I see minions.
2.- The word “Veggies”.- This word make look vegetables like if they were dumb. Vegetables are not dumb, actually, some are not even considered as living things.
3.-When I found out that The Minions were having its own movie.-Seriously, Universal Studios?
4.-When they make two movies about a single book.- The movie staff had enough time and space to put the whole book in one movie, I would understand if they were going to put The Bible on a movie, or a very thick comic book, but there is no need to divide Harry Potter’s 7th book in two parts, or the last book of The Hunger Games in two, or The hobbit in three. This leave the movie uncomplete, but the worst of all, they don’t do it for love to art, they do it for greed.
5.-_-_*-WHeN PeOpLE WrItE LiK3 TH1s 0n F4C3bo0K*_-_-.-They need special education classes.
6.-When I hear “Narco-corridos” on the radio.- “Narco-Corridos” are Spanish ballads that talk about drug dealers and shootings. Being out there many beautiful spanish songs, they had to choose these to broadcast.
7.-When people wear Minion costumes on Halloween.- Among all the characters that they could choose, they had to choose the minions.
8.-When UTPA changed their mascot from “Broncs” to “Vaqueros”.- From an epic mascot, UTPA choose a mascot which is not as epic. I would accept it if instead of “Vaqueros” they were “Cowboys” because the “Vaqueros” make the university so local and people from outside will not go to UTPA.
9.- When people correct me when I say “UTPA” by saying “UTRGV”.- UTPA was cool, UTRGV is not.
10.-Racism.- The US has fought racists in 1860’s, 1940’s, 1950’s to 1970’s, passed laws that has made the minorities more equal, but still conservatives are insisting to undo these achievements.
11.- When people use God to do the wrong.- Conservatives use the name of a god that stands for love to do hateful and wrong stuff, such racism, homophobia, and attack the poor.
12.-Justin Bieber.- So many things that I would like to say, but its R-rated content will make Ms. Hudler to call my parents.
13.-The bad jokes at the back of the cafeteria’s milk.- A good joke is always appreciated, but the jokes on the cafeteria’s milk box are so bad that they don’t make me laugh, but I get mad instead for using such mediocres  and cliches jokes.
File:School milk vending
14.- Bullies.- I think the word describes it pretty good.
15.- Lady Gaga’s song “Alejandro”.- It was fun years ago,
but now when people sing it to me, it is annoying.
16.- Enrique Peña Nieto.- The current president of Mexico is
besides stupid, the most evil president in Mexico’s history. He
has made several reforms to eliminate the middle class and
tried to restrict freedom of speech in social networks. I hope
Quetzalcoatl gets back soon for the sake of Mexico.
17.- When people who type in Spanish omit accents and
the letter Ñ.- There is a difference between Año (year)
and Ano(anus).  There are very easy codes to not omit
these important characters such Alt+164= ñ.
18.-Creationism.- There is not scientific proof of creationism,
but still, conservatives still believe that earth is flat, has 6,000 years old, and the only elements in nature are air, earth, water, and fire.
19.-Bus wifi.- It blocks sites that I need to get my homework done.
20.-The purple minion.- It wasn’t enough with more than a billion yellow minions that Universal had to create the purple one, more ugly than the yellow ones.
21.-When I want to be alone, annoying people come to me.- Is there a need to explain?
22.-When a specific dude (whose name I am not going to mention) stand to my side in art class and stares at my work.- It gets me so nervous, and stressful.
23.-Moira Queen from the show “Arrow”.- She is a mother who tried to destroy her own city, kidnapped her own son, and let the villain to sabotage the boat in which her husband was. You have to see the show to understand me.
24.-When people collect a lot of trash, paint it, put it together in some weird form and then say that is “recycled art”.- It is not art, and neither recycling. Art is something original with a beautiful concept, recycling is to return material to a previous stage in a cyclic process. The concept in this “art” is not even clear, and the “artist” is just putting junk together.
images.jpg
25.- Modern art.- How artists went from the Renaissance to just some
random circles on the canvas?
26.- When people buy this “art”.- Seriously?
27.-Windows 8.- This new windows change to another screen when I swipe
the finger from right to left. It is annoying.
28.- My Ipod’s battery.- It doesn’t last much.
29.- My house’s clock.- It is still on summer schedule.
30.- When people don’t know in which time zone they live in.- When
someone who thinks that London has the same time as Mcallen, and I say
“we live in the GMT-6”, and they don’t know what I am talking about.
31.-The Valley’s weather.- super hot in summer, rain evaporates fast, and vapor gets annoying. On winter is all cloudy and ugly.
32.-Art class.- Only kids who draw anime all day, and hipsters can have a 100 in projects on that class. I am not a hipster, and I don’t draw anime, so I get B’s in every project.
33.- When Argentinians get racist.- I know Argentinians who are very agreeable and nice, unfortunately, there are Argentinians who think that they are “the superior race” of the Americas, and insult Mexicans, Chileans, Brazilians, Colombians, Americans, and everyone who is not white. For this reason, many latin americans don’t like Argentinians.
34.-When people think that “5 de Mayo” is Mexican Independence.- It is the date of an epic battle against the French in Mexico, the independence is on September 16th.
35.- When people say “Dia de los Muertos”.- Although the correct translation in English of this day is “Day of the death”, the original name in Spanish is “Dia de muertos”. “Dia de los Muertos” sounds awkward in Spanish, and that’s why Mexican say “Dia de Muertos”.
36.-When people make historical mistakes.- They have been through elementary, middle, high school, and college, and still don’t know the names of some of The Founding Fathers?!
37.-SAT.- This test is designed to fail students. Also it is created by the biggest Monopoly in Education Industry: The College Board.
38.-The College Board.- They make  money from the SATs, APs,  CLEPs, study guides, etc. Isn't this a monopoly?
File:New SAT Logo.gif
39.-When people say “Eating bunnies is gross”.- You have no idea of what is gross, and
yes, rabbits are eatable.
40.- When people actually think that tacos are those things that sell in Taco Bell.-
Real tacos are those that are sold in street, which you can bend the tortilla
however you want. Taco Bell is a combination of taco with some sort of plastic that
they call “tortilla”.
41.-When my dog bites my pants and pulls them.- Annoying.
42.- Freshmen that cut the line in the cafeteria.- The line was created to maintain an order, besides, what is their hurry? Are they too excited to eat the same thing all the week?
43.-School Enchiladas.- Enchiladas are supposed to be spicy.
44.-When children think that Santa is real.- The children are fooled, the parents stressed to get the toys the kids want, and the only one winning is “Toys R Us”.
45.-Crying babies.- it gets me so stressed out.
46.-Cliche love stories.- Anything that looks like Romeo and Juliet. People can be more creative than that, Can’t they?
47.-Open ending stories.- The reader (or viewer) has spent a lot of its precious time to watch (or read) the story, and at the end, the author don’t have the decency to end the story? That is a waste of time!
48.-When people think that the Viola is a Violin.- There is a difference clear between a Viola and a Violin. The Viola is duller and bigger than the Violin.
49.-When people who think that they sing good, sing in the talent show.- That is why auditions are for, to show the good stuff.
50.-Magicians who think that they are good.- Do they have a trick to realize that they are bad?
51.-When the computer displays the temperature in Fahrenheit.- The computer knows that I want the temperature in Celsius, and it stills disobeys me.
52.-Old Disney’s fairy tales.- They are way too different from the real tales. They fool girls by telling them about some blue prince. Fortunately, Disney is remaking their movies and making them more realistic and feminist (I celebrate that).
53.- When people smell artificial flowers.- What are they smelling?
54.- When people put in water artificial flowers, so they don’t die.- Again, Why?
Artificial flower
55.- Oil Spills.- My family gets angry when I spill the juice, milk or water over the table, because I ruin their food. So the Oil spills ruin the ocean.
56.-The school bell.- Is so disturbing and stressing.
57.- When the school make a drill at lunch or at 4:00 pm.- Why do you
do it? Do you want us to choke or something?
58.-When in school teach me something that I already knew.- It’s like
watching the same episode on TV.
59.- When people is scared to death of 666.- It is just a number.
60.- Superman movies.- The same story, over, and over, and over, and over
again. The only thing that change is the similitude between Superman and
Jesus. Each movie that is made, Superman is more convinced that he is
Jesus.
61.-When religion meets politics.- I believe in the separation of church and the state.
62.-When school makes Grand Rounds.- Why do they do it? Kids will be still be failing no matter what.
63.-The Activities on Grand Rounds.- I can be doing my project or something but school has decided to waste my time in answering questions which answer they are never going to read.
64.-When people think that Med High is the worst school of all STISD.- That is not true. Med High has a great library, great traditions and is a good school, besides everybody knows that that title is for BETA.
65.-Mosquitoes.- Annoying.
Distribution[edit]
66.-When Freshmen whine about how hard are their classes.- They have not idea of what is hard. Besides they don’t know what is hard, until they meet Ms.Odoms.
67.-When Juniors whine about Warden’s Cornell notes.- I could do Cornell notes of four chapters on one night, once I did the cornell notes of four chapters in one bus ride.
68.-When Hipsters are Hipsters not because they adopt Hipster ideology, but for looks.- This is a the worst Hipster. They think that dressing all eccentric are going to look cool. But Hipsterism is not about looks, but about being different from everyone else.
69.-Gossip.- Whenever someone around gossips, I put deaf ears because I don’t care about other’s disgraces. Besides, What is their proof?.
70.- When men gossip.- No comments.
71.-Bureaucracy.- Paperwork to make authorities even more unreachable.
72.-When people think that Mexico is a huge desert.- Mexico is a
